Part two : This is an action packed weekend designed to have massage therapists ready to address Neck and Shoulder pain effectively and efficiently in their own practice. Have you ever asked someone how they were feeling and observed that the first thing they reach for when answering that question is their neck? Everyone has tension in their neck and shoulders. Typically, Neck and Shoulder discomfort is indicative repetitive use daily reinforced muscle imbalances and stress holding patterning. Come and learn some proven techniques assessment and protocols for your clients to help get them changing it up in no time!

Pre-requisites: Practicing Massage Therapist / Graduate from Massage Therapy Program
Weekend Breakdown:
1.)Lecture: regarding the anatomy and physiology of the area being addressed.
2.)Lecture w/ practice :physical assessment of the area with postural analysis.
3.)Practice: complete 50 minute protocol will be presented and
practiced.
These protocols are adaptable dependant on the individual muscle
imbalance assessment to create balance within the individual clients mucsculo-skeletal
structure
These techniques were developed by Lynne Jordan BA, RMT (instructor)
over a 12 year period from various medical modalities and utilized in
practice at University of Colorado Hospital. The weekend workshops are
highly experiential and designed to help you not only begin using
deductive analysis when doing a patient intake but, also providing you a
proven working protocol to use with clients that need more than just a
swedish massage for their problematic areas.
